At SUSD, we strive to provide the best education for every student. In our district, we have developed unique educational opportunities for high-achieving and under-achieving students identified as gifted and talented.
Economically Disadvantaged
We make special efforts to ensure that we provide opportunities for pupils from economically disadvantaged and varying cultural backgrounds to fully participate in these unique opportunities.
G.A.T.E. Funding
Funding for the G.A.T.E. program in Saugus schools is based on our LCAP instructional goals. Currently, there is no state funding to help us. Federal funding is available to school sites based on the number of identified students within the school.
