Tier 1 Support in Action
Miss Jenny, the social worker at James Foster Elementary School, has been working with students on a project called "Pinwheels for Peace." Every student in every class was tasked with creating a pinwheel, decorating the front and including words of kindness and peace on the back. Miss Jenny then "planted" them outside. Once planted, the students got the opportunity to find theirs and to read the words of kindness and peace on other pinwheels.
